VAX
Once Upon a Time, long, long ago, in a galaxy not nearly so far as all that (although well before the WWWeb existed), a group of college students came together on a VAX/VMS system, there to form an association that has lasted for many years. Over the years, this group became friends, lovers, family, nemeses, cohorts and compatriots. It is an alliance built on bizarre humor, sleep deprivation, esoteric interests, intellectual friction, and lots of caffeine. It has lasted past the death of the original system on which it was established, and from there has migrated into a new incarnation, now known as Vaxer.net.
On this page will reside links and lore, jokes, quotes, imagery and anecdotes of VAX and the VAXers, in no particular order, as they occur to me. Oh, BTW, on VAX I was known as [FIREFLYTE],...the original, not to be confused with the one or two others who seem to have popped up online recently. Accept no substitutes. *grin*
