What a joy it is to grow the hell up and learn to separate the actor from his roles. Wil manages to update his blog on a fairly regular basis, which is a hell of a lot more than I can say for myself. (And I don't even spend time getting screwed over by casting directors.) He memorably gave Best Buy some shit for treating him badly. Hell, he even calls bullshit on Scientology (in the FAQ). Bravo, sir. It may be hard for his fellow geeks to realize it, but Wil Wheaton is the kind of guy you'd love to have stayed up with all night in college shooting the shit: intelligent, funny, and articulate. I hope he gets a few yuks out of "Parable of the Next Generation".
